Who I Am yorek profile views

I’ve been working in IT since 1997, starting as a developer and then moving into the data space.

Databases have always been my focus: performance tuning, data modeling, transactional and analytical systems. I spent more than 10 years in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, then moved into IoT and Big Data, working with large-scale, real-time data processing.

Today I lead Product Management for the SQL language at Snowflake. SQL has been a constant throughout my career, and I see it as the natural interface between humans and AI when it comes to working with data.

Still a developer at heart (C#, Python, JavaScript), still curious, still building.
