Since python 3.11 regex flags cannot be used in the middle of a regex. This avoids nengo-gui to crash.
this fixes #1042.
There should be no additional problems since the changed variable
EXPIRES_AVis local and only used in the definition ofATTRwhich already has the(?ix)flags.Some escape sequences were changed to avoid
SyntaxWarnings.I don't know if the rest of nengo-gui will work with python 3.11, but at least now it can start (I'm following the tutorial to get started).
