I'm a forest and quantitative ecologist aiming to build capacity in Tropical Asia with open data and software. I enjoy being at the crossroad between natural history and statistical modelling.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on the Virtual Ecosystem, trait-based ecology, plant demography and forest regeneration
  • 👯 I’m looking to foster a collaborative network in Tropical Ecology, particularly in Malaysia and the SE Asian region
  • 🌱 I’m looking for help with building a Trait Ecology Initiative in SE Asia, backed by the trait databases for the flora of Malaysia and Singapore (and growing)
  • 💻 I’m also looking for buddies to building capacity in statistical programming with R in Malaysia
