Social Web Academic Alumni

A web application that can be maintain as a social web for alumni of an academic institute.

Features:

1. User can get registered with their varsity specific email address
2. Alumni of one department won't see the activity of other alumni
3. Alumni will see all posts, posted on their department group
4. An alumni can add another alumni as his friend and then he can see all post of his friend's posts

Technology used

1. HTML & CSS for designing the web pages
2. Codeigniter(PHP framework) 2.* was used to develop the web application
3. MySql used for database.

Limitation

1. Chat with friend is not available in the system
