After switching back to regular gnome in the session manager all original settings are messed up #1122

Describe the bug
Installing the regolith desktop along with your regular gnome desktop i.e. in PopOS has the uncomfortable side effect that your original gnome theme gets destroyed after a first login to regolith. Fonts, Wallpaper, colors, ... all messed up when loging in again to ordinary gnome

To Reproduce
use plain PopOS or ubuntu. install regolith desktop, login to regolith, logout, login to gnome, see the difference :-(

Expected behavior
The original gnome should not be messed up.
