Hi @stephenh , Regolith requires XResource support which baseline Sway does not support. You could build and install Sway 1.11 locally, or install from some binary package, but the Regolith session will not use it. In a subsequent Regolith release, I would guess the next one, will include this upgrade. I'll post back here when |

Hello!
For whatever reason, my regolith/i3wm/nvidia setup was causing lots of CPU spikes/terrible performance, so I recently switched over to regolith/sway/nvidia and am almost really happy. Like the core regolith/sway experience is really great -- the core DX just works, all my key bindings come over as-is, and I can tell everything is just much faster, better, etc.
...except for resume from sleep (nvidia GPU errors in dmesg) and screensharing in chrome/meets. :-/
I'm probably going to ditch my nvidia card, b/c I'm just tired of the "whack a mole" issue of trying 4-5 different driver versions, 550/560/575/580, and each one having slightly different annoying-to-deal-breaker issues.
But, my nvidia saga aside, it seems like gnome's wayland impl works better on my hardware, so I'm wondering if I could try sway 1.11 locally and see if that helps?
Is that easy to try/advisable?
Thank you!
