Move save from multiplayer to singleplayer

I've helped my buddie with scary moments in the DLC and he want to continue on by himself in the singleplayer, but our newly unlocked log entires in the log book are only saved in the multiplayer save. If he plays multiplayer solo, he can't esc to pause the game.

How can he migrate his multiplayer save to his singleplayer save?

hey! there's no in-game way to do this, but if you go into the files wheres the saves are (AppData\LocalLow\Mobius Digital\Outer Wilds\Saves or SteamSaves), go into the profile, data.owsave is the singleplayer save for that profile, and data_mult.owsave is the multiplayer save. You should just be able to delete data.owsave and rename data_mult.owsave.
