dns query and connection issue

Hello, I have a wpa/wpa2 ssid at my home.
I set the wifi1 user/pass with shell commands via serial port.

When device boots it gets ip address from dhcp

but i noticed it doesnt make any traffic so i monitored from my gw via tcpdump..
adding verbose file here..but as you can notice,

it makes dns query to some garbage addresses as

a kind of memory corruption?

This doesn’t look like a DNS issue.
Could you please check these on the device?

On the Speed screen, do you see the small square (WIFI connection) at the top change red → yellow → green?
That indicates whether network upload is failing, pending, or successful.

In Menu → Others → Remote upload type, is it set to WIFI?

Is your Wi‑Fi password 31 characters or less? (Longer values can corrupt settings when set via serial.)

Is Wi‑Fi enabled and connected (IP assigned)?

If those are all correct, please share any serial logs around “HTTP POST …” or “HTTP POST error”.

Infact, the direct logs from my dns/dhcp gateway shows this is a corruption issue..
No my passwd is 12 chars.
Yes remote upload type is wifi
IP assigned, i can confirm this from both gui and from shell commands which fits same with my dhcp reply (sure i can only see ip not ther settings on core2 side.

Here is the dns query while it tries to send the log to your server..the domain is garbage. 192.168.1.125 is the core2 ip address

and while it tries to upload contribution log,

I see it collects can data, prepares and while trying to send i get
HTTP POST error

On my LAN, I have plenty of esp32/arduino based sensors running for home assistant, so I dont think there is a mismatch with esp domain

with 4.3.6 it seems wifi is ok.. and i also tried to upload a contribution.. not sure if you can copy it now.

Just m5 entered in sentry mode.. and when i ran the car it returned into wifi ok.. not connected mode.. a reboot solved it.

Hello, problem seems not very related to sentry mode.. because, with older and latest fw, when I boot device, it connects to internet and also gives warning about new version found etc..
but after the bluetooth connection, i got wifi ok, net temporary unavailable warning
