Trying to create a custom component with Kafka consumer

I was trying to create a custom component as a kafka consumer but i couldn't find a way to continues listen for messages. I need to trigger to work.

Motivation

It would be nice to be able to create a kafka consumer where continuous listening of kafka messages is possible

Hey @andsty.

Would you really need this trigger inside Langflow? I’d approach it differently. A more scalable design would be to externalize the trigger logic—have an external service consuming from Kafka and notifying Langflow via webhook when a flow needs to be reprocessed.
