Crafting an Akashic Tome (or Morph-o-Tool) with a valid item that can be combined with the Tome while there are crystals in the Arcane Workbench will result in the last available crystal being added to the Tome or Tool instead. This consumes the valid item, and doesn't consume the crystal.
