Bundle fails to install after updating swupd-client

Describe the bug
Bundle fails to install after updating swupd-client from 3.19 to 4.2.1.

Error: File staging failed: /etc/inputrc
Error: Failed to install required files
Failed to install 1 of 1 bundles

Running swupd repair did not help.

To Reproduce
Upgraded swupd-client from 3.19 to 4.2.1 but kept mixer-tools as 5.6. OTA works but bundle-add is failing.

Expected behavior
bundle-add to complete successfully or be able to force/repair the problematic files.

Environment (please complete the following information):

• Custom Yocto OS with meta-swupd layer
• Platform: Yocto

Problem persists even after updating mixer-tools and pushing a new update. Is there any way to fix this error? What causes it?
