new 1.6.3 release?

Would be great to have a 1.6.3 release with the recent fixes.
Specifically to get the fix for #1449

Is a new release planned anytime soon?

Would be great to get a new release, as 1.6.2 is extremly slow on S3, which should be fixed by #1480
