Try this test version and see if there is any difference:

Otherwise will need additional verbose logging enabled to see what streams YouTube is allowing you to access. You may be unlucky and are being targeted for a YouTube test of its SABR streaming implementation.

The specific video in question was only a stream for a short period of time, before becoming a VOD. I have had issues with other streams being temperamental in the past so Im just reporting what comes along so you'll have the error logs in case it comes up again. I just tried other streams and they seem to work fine so Ill close the issue.

How are you able to determine this? When you watch this on the website does it indicate something?

It is a known issue that when such a thing occurs the VOD streams are not necessarily available for some time until after the live stream ends.

From what I have seen YouTube will identify that such a video was originally a live stream or premiere, but there is no such indication for this video.

If it happens again on another similar transition from live to VOD stream try to enable verbose logging in the addon Addon > Settings > Advanced > Debug > Enable debug logging > Verbose.

The resulting log will contain details of what information the addon gets from YouTube, at the time the transition is occurring, which may allow this to be detected.

How are you able to determine this? When you watch this on the website does it indicate something?

I mean because it was the premiere period of a cartoon episode (Amazing Digital Circus), which didnt work during the streaming period but then worked during the VOD period. I was able to join the stream on my computer but not on my Vero V. No it didn't indicate it but it was obvious because people were also streaming the Premier for initial reactions during that period.

The episode released at March 20 at 18:00 Eastern Time which is the time zone I am in for proof.

To clarify, I don't doubt what you are saying, just that there was no indication of this on either the website or the logged player requests.

I had a look again recently, and now there are details of the the stream from when it premiered, which weren't there previously.

When is the next episode being released? Can see if there is anything that can be identified to try and workaround the issue.
