2LabsToGo-Eco

Important Preliminary Note

In our publication (reference 1) we recommended asking our electronic workshop for a quote on the electronic boards. Unfortunately, that turned out to be very difficult. We therefore recommend contacting Chromnil (https://chromnil.com/), a young start-up also providing the electronic boards or even the 2LabsToGo-Eco ready mounted.

2LabsToGo-Eco combines an analytical (high-performance thin-layer chromatography) and a biological (bioassays) laboratory.

This repository contains the folders for the hardware, firmware, and software for 2LabsToGo-Eco. For details and instructions consult the given references.

1. Raspberry Pi operating system (OS)

The recent Raspberry Pi OS is based on Debain 13 (Trixie, https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/operating-systems/) that can be used to install 2LabsToGo-Eco on both the Raspberry Pi 4B and the Raspberry Pi 5B (see reference 3).

2. Clone the 2LabsToGo-Eco repository

The simplest way to clone a git repository (internet access required!) is opening a new terminal being in the home directory.
Then, copy and paste the next command and press enter.

git clone https://github.com/OfficeChromatography/2LabsToGo-Eco.git

3. Installing the software

To install the software, consult this README.
