Your idea.
I’m using ONLYOFFICE on Windows 11 and I’m working with text written in the Yezidi alphabet (used for Kurmanji/Kurdish). The characters display correctly when I paste them, but ONLYOFFICE shows the language at the bottom as Arabic and I can’t choose Yezidi (or Kurdish in Yezidi script) from the language list.
Could you please add an option to select the correct language for this script, and prevent it from being automatically treated as Arabic just because it’s right‑to‑left? This would help keep the document language correct and avoid confusion when editing and sharing files.
Steps I tried:
- Open a new document
- Paste Yezidi characters
The text looks fine, but the language indicator shows Arabic and there’s no Yezidi option to choose
Thanks!
