Bootloader library compatibility with XC32 v4.00?

Hello,

We are having several issues trying to make the UDP bootloader work properly along the application using XC32 v4.00.
Is this version of the compiler supported by the library? Could there any incompatibilities causing errors?
Have you tested proper functionality with XC32 v4.00?

Hi @manolisss,

Thanks for reporting. The bootloaders released as part of 3.5.1 are tested with XC32 v3.x. There is a known build error for UDP bootloader on PIC32MX devices due to increase in size after using XC32 v4.00.

This will be fixed in next release of bootloader.

Thanks for the quick response. Do you know for a fact there is a problem? You are not sure exactly where the issues are coming from.
Has the UART bootloader been tested with XC32 v4.00?
Do you have any indication as to when the new version of the Bootloader will be released that will be fully compliant with XC32 v4.00?

Hi @manolisss , Thanks for reporting this issue. This issue is fixed in the bootloader release v3.6.0.
