If you want, you can transfer ownership to the https://github.com/JuliaStrings/ organization; that way other people can help with simple maintenance tasks like this.

By the way, I recall the issue of the copy_till (forgot the exact name) did that make it into the release?

I've sent you an invite to JuliaStrings, which will allow you to transfer the repo.

Yes, the copyuntil PR was merged (JuliaLang/julia#48273) and it was also optimized in BufferedStreams (JuliaIO/BufferedStreams.jl#76). It won't be available until Julia 1.11, however.
