I just wanted to mention the fact that the Yamagi project hasn't stopped, and there have been a few advancements recently that would be very useful for Qwasm2, due to the performance boost the game experiences thanks to them.
I understand that Qwasm2 uses Yamagi 8.30, which means it doesn't use, for example:
I know that two of the three examples I've given are mine, but there's a reason for this: they allow YQ2 to run on a Raspberry Pi (3, at least), so the performance gain they bring is obvious. I think it would be very beneficial for Qwasm2 to use them as well, and I believe those are not the only improvements.
