WIEMIP CO2 data

Raw co2 data for WIEMIP are here /glade/campaign/cgd/tss/common/WIEMIP/WIEMIP_1pctco2_FaIR_input_20260331.txt.

@slevis-lmwg can you use this information to create the .nc file we'll use for WIEMIP co2tseries?

@wwieder I have generated a file. I would like you to review it:
/glade/derecho/scratch/slevis/temp_work/WIEMIP/WIEMIP_1pctco2_FaIR_input_20260331_to_netcdf_20260420.nc

You could compare against existing files in /glade/campaign/cesm/cesmdata/cseg/inputdata/atm/datm7/CO2, where the latest one has my name on it. One difference is that I assumed 365-day years this time (no_leap calendar). LMK if that was a mistake. LMK if you notice other issues. Here is my process, so that we may reproduce:

1. In matab

time_years = matrix_in(:,1);
co2 = matrix_in(:,2);
time_days = 365 * 0.5 + 365 * (time_years - 1850);
time_bnds = [time_days - 182.5 time_days + 182.5];
matrix_out = [time_days, co2, time_bnds];
writematrix(matrix_out', '/glade/derecho/scratch/slevis/temp_work/WIEMIP/WIEMIP_1pctco2_FaIR_input_20260331.csv');

2. Edit .csv to include metadata according to /glade/campaign/cesm/cesmdata/cseg/inputdata/atm/datm7/CO2/co2_input4MIPs_GHGConcentrations_CMIP_CR-CMIP-1-0-0_gm_1750-2022_CMIP7_c20250228.nc though modified as needed.
3. ncgen -b -o WIEMIP_1pctco2_FaIR_input_20260331_to_netcdf_20260420.nc WIEMIP_1pctco2_FaIR_input_20260331.csv
