Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Maybe it's not needed to show ALL future recurring events up to "the end of universe" ;-)
It would be useful to specify if I want to view only current month expenses or up to next month, or 3 months, 6 or whatever.

I thought about 2 possible options:
Option 1: A configuration option to define the default future time period to show.
Option 2: A button to change the time period.

Currently no alternative possible. All future expenses are shown without a limit.

@Quantum-Future right now I do show the upcoming 10 years so to be precise it's not until infinity. Do you really see this as a problem? I never thought of that as you can just stop scrolling down, no?

It used to show just one month in the old version. Maybe you could add a setting where we can choose whether to see only the current month or more

The previous version of the upcoming screen was not just showing a single month, but the next occurrence of each expense, which was an undefined time frame. That approach had quite some flaws as there could be multiple payments in between depending on the occurrence of them.
I do agree that an option in the Settings where you could choose the time frame you want to see in the upcoming screen can be helpful and would solve you problem.

Well... it's not a critical thing, and yes, I can stop scrolling, but maybe a setting is a good option, if I want to show only one year for example.
