Provider not detected in Debian 13 #1005

@AngelBlue01

Description

@AngelBlue01

After a clean install of Debian 13, using the displaylink-driver and evdi packages in the Debian repos, my DisplayLink device is no longer detected. It was working previously in Debian 12 using the latest packages from the Synaptic repo. The xrandr --list providers only lists one provider, my onboard Intel GPU.

The EVDI and DisplayLink drivers are loaded.

I tried possibility 1 and possibility 2 from the Post-installation guide. I even tried this older possibility.
